How to use a Gourmet DipKit!

Just add your favorite Gourmet DipKit to 1 cup of regular, low fat, or fat free sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise or 2 cups of plain yogurt, regular, low fat, or fat free and serve with potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels, crackers or raw veggies.

For a personal serving of a cream cheese spread, just mix 3 tbls. of softened cream cheese and 1 tsp. of your favorite Gourmet DipKit spices together and serve with bagels or crackers.

After preparing your Gourmet DipKit, it can be used instead of mayonnaise in chicken salad, tuna salad, or pasta salads for a real taste treat.

Herbs should be used with discretion. More is never better! A good rule of thumb is to use 1/4 teaspoon of a dried herb for a recipe that serves 4. You can then increase this amount according to your taste 

How to store spices and herbs:
Spices and herbs should be stored away from the exposure to heat, moisture and direct     sunlight.

NOTE: Some of my recipes call for Olive Oil. Here are the different types of Olive Oil and how to use them: 
Extra Virgin Olive Oil -
Best used for dipping, meat rubs and salad dressings.
Pure Olive Oil -
Best used for grilling and sautéing.
Light Olive Oil -
Best used for baking and frying.

CARAMELIZED ONION & ROASTED GARLIC FETTUCCINI 
WITH FRESH VEGETABLES

You will need:
8 oz. uncooked Fettucini
2 1/2 tbsp. Pure Olive Oil
1 Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Gourmet DipKit
1 med. red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 med. yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
2 cups chopped asparagus or broccoli
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella/Provolone blend

To assemble:
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meantime, heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add vegetables and the Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Spices. Cook and stir until tender, about 8 minutes. Toss together the hot pasta, vegetables and the lemon juice. Mix in cheese and serve.
