How to use a Gourmet DipKit!

Just add your favorite Gourmet DipKit to 1 cup of regular, low fat, or fat free sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise or 2 cups of plain yogurt, regular, low fat, or fat free and serve with potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels, crackers or raw veggies.

For a personal serving of a cream cheese spread, just mix 3 tbls. of softened cream cheese and 1 tsp. of your favorite Gourmet DipKit spices together and serve with bagels or crackers.

After preparing your Gourmet DipKit, it can be used instead of mayonnaise in chicken salad, tuna salad, or pasta salads for a real taste treat.

Herbs should be used with discretion. More is never better! A good rule of thumb is to use 1/4 teaspoon of a dried herb for a recipe that serves 4. You can then increase this amount according to your taste 

How to store spices and herbs:
Spices and herbs should be stored away from the exposure to heat, moisture and direct     sunlight.

NOTE: Some of my recipes call for Olive Oil. Here are the different types of Olive Oil and how to use them: 
Extra Virgin Olive Oil -
Best used for dipping, meat rubs and salad dressings.
Pure Olive Oil -
Best used for grilling and sautéing.
Light Olive Oil -
Best used for baking and frying.

LAYERED MEXY-TEXY CHILI Dip

You will need:
1 Mexy-Texy Chili Gourmet DipKit
16 oz. of cream cheese, softened 
1-16 oz. can refried beans
1 large chopped, sweet onion
1/2  cup chopped black olives
1/2  cup diced Roma tomatoes
1-1 oz. bottle mild taco sauce
1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 lb. Shredded Montery Jack cheese
4 oz. can drained, chopped green chilies, optional

To assemble:
Mix the Mexy-Texy Chili Spices with the cream cheese and chill overnight for optimum flavor (for sure 4 hours). When ready to serve, soften the cream cheese mixture and spread on a large pizza pan evenly to cover the pan. Layer the rest of the ingredients in order and serve with nacho chips.

Smokey Bacon Tomato Cheddar Dip

You will need:
1 (16 oz) carton sour cream
1 Smokey Bacon Tomato Gourmet DipKit
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 oz. real bacon bits or your own cooked bacon
1 (14.5 oz.) can of diced tomatoes, drained well

To assemble:
Mix the first 2 ingredients together real well. Then mix everything in a large bowl. Cover and chill at least 4 hours to blend the flavors. Can be used as a dip with vegetables or pork rinds.
